Welcome back to Future Human! Quick note to say that the newsletter will be taking a short break over the next few weeks while I gear up for USMLE Step 1—the first national exam on the long road to becoming a physician. I’ll be spending this time deep in study mode, making sure this thing we call a career keeps moving in the right direction. I’ve always wanted to be a physician working at the frontier of health innovation, and earning that title starts with a successful sitting for this exam.

We’ll be back in April with more Future Human Vitals and Workups, and I’m excited to keep exploring the startups and headlines that make this space so exciting.
